REIGN IN BLOOD: BROOKLYN PROJECTS X NIKE DUNK HIGH PREMIUM SB RELEASE @ BP MELROSE 6/6/2011 – WOLF ON THE SCENE

As many of You know I was in attendance for the Brooklyn Projects X Nike Dunk High SB “Reign In Blood” Special Release at Brooklyn Projects Melrose. The afternoon did not disappoint. I have to start off by thanking Dom Deluca and Staff for hosting a great organized fair release for the highly sought after Dunk Highs. One of the best since the Gucci Dunk Highs and the Brain Wrecks IN MY OPINION!! (Yes, We are all enttled to have one. You should try it sometime!!) Pictured below is the Brooklyn Projects Dunk Low SB from years back with it’s Big Bro the RIB.

This Young Man was first in line and came down with Family all the way from San Francisco. His group wasn’t going to take a chance on the Special Edition. It was hilarious listening to a bunch of different People in line speculating on the number of pairs produced and where they were being sold etc.. Rumors and wrong info galore. Everyone is an Expert these days.

Dom went all out on the packaging of the special edition. The Blood Bags special ordered for the release were a nice touch indeed. Special Edition Nike SB X Brooklyn Projects Tees were included in a second Blood Bag. You can catch images spread throughout this post of the Tee Print. The Team was all hands on deck.

As You can see, there were many happy People. Always good to see real fans and lovers of Sneakers get their Pair as opposed to mass reseller. Yeah Yeah, GFY! I’ve moved on to bigger better Hustles. Sorry for feeding Myself the last 2 years. “Dad On The Scene” below was way excited that He was able to once again secure His Son’s Pair. I see Him at many a release making sure His Son is taken care of. Good to see this type of dedication both of Family and Sneakers. SALUTE!!!!

Brooklyn Projects is a great Skate Shop located in the Heart of the Los Angeles Life Style. A second location can be found in the City of Pasadena. The Half Pipe in the backyard is a classic touch. That’s where I snapped that picture up top of this post. So many Skaters, I didn’t catch this Gentlemen’s Name. I’m happy I was able to secure a pair Myself. Good Times and Great People. That sums up the release event and this shop. It’s a BP Thing! Once again a SALUTE and Thank You to Dom Deluca and Crew. I told You what I thought of Your Dunk High and I meant it Sir! SNEAKERPEDIA LAUNCH PARTY – NYC – HUDSON HOTEL 5/17/2011

Last week I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Sneakerpedia Launch Party in NYC. The Hudson Hotel was the place to be on the 17th. Lines formed quickly and before You knew it, the place was Packed! I was very much looking forward to the chance to finally meet many People I have only had contact with Via Twitter and My Blog. The night did not disappoint.

Hosting the Event was none other than the ATF Crew. Mayor on the Mic, Clark on the 1’s and 2’s. ALL DAY was on the “Killing Your Shoe Game” Patrol. Finally had the chance to also meet DJ. Greg Street. Not only have I heard good things about this Gentlemen, but I see how much He does for the Community and Children where He is from. SALUTE!! BUN B. of UGK (RIP PIMP C.) took the stage performing many a classic verse from some of our favorite Hits. The crowd went crazy!

Mayor AKA well, Mayor was the Host at the Sneakerpedia Event. He brought out some Neck Breakers with the Paris Dunk Low SB X AF1. I have heard many a opinion on this particular mash up. To each His own I say.

Many a Blogger in the building. Ran into Chris of C To The JL who was chilling with Joe La Puma of Complex Magazine. Always good to see You Chris! Above You are seeing Sneak Geekz “On Feet” shot. He broke out the Jordan 5 Tokyo 23’s (I have a few pair in Sz. 10 if anyone is interested). These 5’s are straight Butter! I definitely need to find Myself a Sz. 12 in this Jordan.

Greg Street seemed to break Everyone’s Neck at the Party by arriving in the Infamous WU-TANG Dunk Hi! BOOOM! Shut It Down Status! It was all in all a great night to be able to see what people really Wear compared to what they talk about and show on these Sites.

Walking through the Bar area Melissa Pardo of the Footlocker Clan stopped Me and introduced Me to a talented Customizer. Above and Below We are blessed to have a look at a Tribute Customization of a Blue Leather upper Converse High Classic. Fetti does an amazing  job memorializing local Long Beach Singer/Rapper Nate Dogg. The outers feature cartoon like images of Nate reading “All Doggz Go To Heaven” and “RIP Nate Dogg”. The inner sides of the pair feature Lyrics. Nate recently passed away incase You live under a rock. Snoop Dogg needs to take a look at these in Person asap to appreciate the Love, Talent and hard work put into this pair. You can check out more about the Customizer at FDNYC.BLOGSPOT.COM

With many a Sneaker in attendance, all in all it was a great night. I’d like to Thank My Friend Elias T. of  the “All Cities” famous Seeking The Throne for taking this trip with Me. Kyle aka The Sneaker Guru is Family and was treated that way. Franalations and Reenae arrived as the Event ended. He’s also Family. Thanks to Him We ended staying up till 5:30 AM when I had planned on getting up at 6AM. Thanks Fran! Late Night/Early Morning Pizza with Greg Street, All Day, Franalations & Reenae, Elias (STT), The Sneaker Guru, Premium Pete, Sneak Geekz, Sneaker Box Clyde and Premium Pete’s Victims of the Night. Hope everyone enjoys the images from the event. Stay Tuned As Always – WOLF
