NIKE DUNK LOW PRO B (OBSIDIAN/WHITE) 2002

2.1

Picked up one of my favorite dunks of all time and I can also call this one of my top five shoes of all time. Corgi Shoe @corgishoe Posted these gems in a size 12 and I had to snatch them up.

Tongue is stuffed fatter than a pig’s belly. 2002 Nike Dunk Low Pro B (Obsidian/White)! The quality on this one shoe shits on people’s entire newer collections Hands down!! Thanks to Food With Sole @foodwithsole for tagging Me though I was texting Him at the same time already. Missed out on the 2001 Air Jordan 1 Breds. These were $100, but 70-80% of people would rather buy the Red Supreme Dunk Low for $350-500. You can have those. This is where it’s at! Know your Sneaker History before leaving comments on IG posts that make you like You just got off the “I don’t really know shit about Sneakers” Boat. Back to doing what I Love, LIVING LIFE! – Wolf

Sneaker Talk Las Vegas: HANGING WITH CHUMLEE

IMG_7535Twice a year minimum I hit up Las Vegas for MAGIC, this past February was no different as I headed out to the City of Sin. Knowing My boy Woo of Crooks & Castles is friends with many good people, I hit him up on the fly about linking with Chum. Without hesitation He made the call. I was in a Limo before I knew it headed to his House on the westside of Vegas. You know that feeling you get when you are welcomed as Family automatically? This was that situation thanks to My G Woo and his world of connections and friends. Upon entering the house, I was impressed with the nice layout and huge backyard. Waterfalls? Yes!! Greeted by two beautiful dogs you don’t want to have problems with, TRUST! We took time and had a great convo about Sneakers upstairs before he had moved them downstairs to their new home. Snapped a few shots while talking. Let’s get started with a little Q&A, here is the Sneaker Talk X Chumlee Interview

IMG_7549Wolf: How long have You been collecting Sneakers? Did Your success on Pawn Stars help You get what We are looking at today?

Chumlee: “I never had the money before the show. As a skater, I would wear My SB’s. Some made it out alive, some never had a chance! Once the show began I was able to get Sneakers I used to have and even started to get the pairs of Jordans I could never afford. Before I knew it, I was an official “Hypebeast” LMAO!! I wear everything, wouldn’t exactly call it a collection. They are just My Shoes.”

IMG_7539 Wolf: What is that one special sneaker You just have to have that started it all for You?

Chumlee: “It is the Air Jordan OG BRED XII. The only pair of Jordans My Mom ever got Me. I remember some older guys that were My neighbors looking just so fly in those J’s. I had to have them. That trip down memory lane right there started the love of shoes for Me.”

IMG_7532Wolf: Resellers, Good Or Bad? Have You used them before?

Chumlee: “Resellers are part of the game. If that’s the hustle you partake in then more power to You. I respect the resellers! I get a lot of My heat from the Sneaker Yeti. Without a key seller like him I just couldn’t get it anywhere else.”

IMG_7533Wolf: What are your feelings on Jordan Brands continuous restocks this year and what it’s doing to reseller market?

Chumlee: “It’s getting ridiculous! At the same time I feel it’s helping true Sneakerheads get what they want at a fair price. Not knocking the resell hustle, just saying. Everyone can’t afford to spend that extra coin with a reseller.”

IMG_7538

Wolf: Whats’s the most expensive pairs of Sneakers You own?

Chumlee: “The LeBronald Palmer and/or the Reverse LeBronald Palmer. We are talking 2K plus! Although I paid 3K for My Yellow Lobsters, I don’t feel they are worth that.”

IMG_7541

Wolf: Do You see a lot of Sneakers come through the Pawn Shop? If so, which is the craziest or best pick up via Pawn?

Chumlee: “Not too many to be honest. I have seen some OG’s roll through on occasion. My favorite was the Jordan 5 from the Raging Bull Pack that were on the show. I got them for $75!”

IMG_7545Wolf: Last but not least, a question I think is the most important for any sneaker connoisseur. If You were to do a collab with any shoe company wether it be a new silhouette or just color blocking & material placement, which company and shoe would it be?

Chumlee: “That’s easy. I would choose an Nike SB Dunk Low with a super fat stuffed tongue. High quality like some of the Classics considered grails.”

IMG_7530Thank You for your time and hospitality Sir. I appreciate you welcoming me into Your Home and sharing Your love of Sneakers with Me. – WOLF

N.Y. FLASHBACK: JAY CORBIN – ESPN – FOOTLOCKER/HOH 34TH ST. – TINA’S CUBAN

Wether You Follow Me on Twitter, Check Out My Blog, or Stalk Me in Real Life then You know I traveled out to NYC recently for the Sneakerpedia Event held at The Hudson Hotel. Once again, I had an amazing time while in New York. Day 2 had us on the go all around the City. Subways > Taxies !! We headed out to meet up with Jay Corbin AKA @sneakersensei over at ESPN. It will be the last time I get a chance to visit Him there. Jay recently made a Power Move and it’s everything it seems. Of course I had the 60D with Me firing away.

Jay had all kinds of Goodies lying around His Desk. Being onboard several projects a year will have a ton of Packages coming your way. That’s the kind of problem I need to have one day soon. These Nike Cleats were CRAZY!! Look at the technology on the bottom of these Bad Boys.

Here JC shows us His Blinged Out Yankees Hat. Yes, there’s an actual Diamond in the front of that hat.

WOW!! It was crazy seeing the Autograph on a pillar at ESPN of a 5 time NBA Champion and Career Los Angeles Laker Michael Cooper. BOOM!! Los Angeles In The Building! ESPN Desks were Bobble Head and Sports Memorabilia Heaven!

We took time to stop by Footlocker/HOH 34th. St.. Nothing special other than it being 2 levels. The HOH Staff was cool. Spent about half an hour there shooting the shit about kicks and other related topics. Good People.

Last but definitely not least, before heading back to the Hotel for the Sneakerpedia Event Jay brought us to Tina’s Cuban. BOMB.COM !! Had a great time breaking bread with Jay, Elias, and Kyle. The Food was just what I anticipated, Muy Rico!! Jay went back a few days after and I hear that the waitress asked for Me. I guess I left Her thinking about the WOLF! (Don’t Punch Your Computer Screen or Throw Your Laptop-It’s Not Healthy) This was a great day with Old and New Friends. Stay Tuned for the “Jay comes to LA” posts… Joining Forces with Sneaker Sensei. Light Work!! – WOLF

PUSHING WEIGHT: RIF LOS ANGELES #334A

You can catch Me at RIF Los Angeles at least 4 times a week. Happened to finally get to posting some Pics of My latest visit. See, I take pictures just about every time I’m in there. The welcoming Management and Staff make this great store all that much better. A Public Congrats goes out to Jeff and His better half for recently welcoming a beautiful baby Girl into this crazy world. He is accepting any and all baby Jordan and Nike Shoes.. HEAT ONLY!!!

Oh, You don’t know? RIF has been releasing Pocket Tees lately. I have no idea if it’s in store only or an on-line thing as well. Call and ask if interested. Ask for Manny or Murad. Ed will most likely be outside smoking a cigarette while Modeling a new boat shoe or some Rare Visvim. Below: I snapped a shot of some LeBron 7 Lows. The Grey Suede was KILLING though!! Jeff said the Owner always comes in Rocking some Heat. I’m such a Sneaker Nerd. These made My Day!

Located in Little Tokyo @ 334-A E. 2nd St., at RIF You will find a deal on a Shoe that You have always been looking for. It might not be DS, or it might be the most DS Mint Crisp Pair in the World. No matter what, You can Bet anything that You will not find a better deal at Fraud Club Los Angeles or FeE-Bay! Sidenote: I really had a great time and enjoyed Visiting FCNY. Complete opposite of the LA Location.  Sidenote.2: Bobby at FCLA = Good People!! I don’t hold it against Him for working there.

I’ve always enjoyed the Sneaker History laying around the store. There’s something to be said about a fully educated/non-hyped team full of knowledge that matters to true Sneaker Nerds. A pleasure and honor to be able to have this store in My City. If You are ever in Los Angeles or just happen to live here and You hadn’t heard about this place because the rock You live under blocks You from a Western View, stop by RIF Los Angeles. Tell them Wolf sent You. Stay Tuned As Always – WOLF LA

SNEAKERPEDIA LAUNCH PARTY – NYC – HUDSON HOTEL 5/17/2011

Last week I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Sneakerpedia Launch Party in NYC. The Hudson Hotel was the place to be on the 17th. Lines formed quickly and before You knew it, the place was Packed! I was very much looking forward to the chance to finally meet many People I have only had contact with Via Twitter and My Blog. The night did not disappoint.

Hosting the Event was none other than the ATF Crew. Mayor on the Mic, Clark on the 1’s and 2’s. ALL DAY was on the “Killing Your Shoe Game” Patrol. Finally had the chance to also meet DJ. Greg Street. Not only have I heard good things about this Gentlemen, but I see how much He does for the Community and Children where He is from. SALUTE!! BUN B. of UGK (RIP PIMP C.) took the stage performing many a classic verse from some of our favorite Hits. The crowd went crazy!

Mayor AKA well, Mayor was the Host at the Sneakerpedia Event. He brought out some Neck Breakers with the Paris Dunk Low SB X AF1. I have heard many a opinion on this particular mash up. To each His own I say.

Many a Blogger in the building. Ran into Chris of C To The JL who was chilling with Joe La Puma of Complex Magazine. Always good to see You Chris! Above You are seeing Sneak Geekz “On Feet” shot. He broke out the Jordan 5 Tokyo 23’s (I have a few pair in Sz. 10 if anyone is interested). These 5’s are straight Butter! I definitely need to find Myself a Sz. 12 in this Jordan.

Greg Street seemed to break Everyone’s Neck at the Party by arriving in the Infamous WU-TANG Dunk Hi! BOOOM! Shut It Down Status! It was all in all a great night to be able to see what people really Wear compared to what they talk about and show on these Sites.

Walking through the Bar area Melissa Pardo of the Footlocker Clan stopped Me and introduced Me to a talented Customizer. Above and Below We are blessed to have a look at a Tribute Customization of a Blue Leather upper Converse High Classic. Fetti does an amazing  job memorializing local Long Beach Singer/Rapper Nate Dogg. The outers feature cartoon like images of Nate reading “All Doggz Go To Heaven” and “RIP Nate Dogg”. The inner sides of the pair feature Lyrics. Nate recently passed away incase You live under a rock. Snoop Dogg needs to take a look at these in Person asap to appreciate the Love, Talent and hard work put into this pair. You can check out more about the Customizer at FDNYC.BLOGSPOT.COM

With many a Sneaker in attendance, all in all it was a great night. I’d like to Thank My Friend Elias T. of  the “All Cities” famous Seeking The Throne for taking this trip with Me. Kyle aka The Sneaker Guru is Family and was treated that way. Franalations and Reenae arrived as the Event ended. He’s also Family. Thanks to Him We ended staying up till 5:30 AM when I had planned on getting up at 6AM. Thanks Fran! Late Night/Early Morning Pizza with Greg Street, All Day, Franalations & Reenae, Elias (STT), The Sneaker Guru, Premium Pete, Sneak Geekz, Sneaker Box Clyde and Premium Pete’s Victims of the Night. Hope everyone enjoys the images from the event. Stay Tuned As Always – WOLF
